A Brief Guide To Self Realization Actualization

By Kelly Wood

For a lot of people life can be frustrating. They might be in a job that they do not like or are suffering from stress. It can result in a cycle as more stress can be compounded by not achieving our goals. A way to break this cycle is by developing Self Realization Actualization.

As we go through our lives it is easy to fall into habits and routines. We begin to accept that these patterns are what our lives have to be. However this does not necessarily have to be the case and it is possible to break these cycles and to develop new methods of perceiving ourselves and how we approach our lives.

Self Realization Actualization is about learning about who you are and how that self knowledge can be used to overcome difficulties. A lot of the time these difficulties are not as bad as you may think in your mind. Part of dealing with this is learning how to recognize reality rather than the perception in your head exaggerating the negative aspects of that reality while failing to focus on a potential positive outcome.

Sometimes this can come from subconscious beliefs that have been developing in our minds over a long period of time. We may not realize it but friends, teachers, parents and coworkers can all affect how we perceive ourselves and for better or worse the messages they give us stay. This can be both positive and negative in equal measure. Even the most well meaning people can affect you negatively and often they may not know they are doing it. Equally some people can react positively to negative reactions in order to prove themselves.

Self realization actualization is about recognizing the flaws in ourselves and addressing them. A lot of the time these fundamental lies might be the things that stop a person applying for a job, asking someone on a date or taking up a sport. In their mind the person thinks they cannot do it and so they do not try.

Part of this is about flexibility and not sticking to one particular perspective. It is about learning new skills and knowledge and applying it to your personal circumstances. You can also benefit from being aware that there are various perspectives and that there are a number of paths. However awareness also means that you know when people are lying or exaggerating.

Once you do this it then becomes easier to set yourself goals as you overcome the obstacles you create in your own head. As you develop you can then become more open to new experiences and perceptions. This is all about going on a path and developing your personality and how you deal with obstacles in life.

In short the process of Self Realization Actualization is a lifelong one. As you begin to learn more about your approach to life you should find more of your goals achieved and increased self confidence. Look online to find coaches and courses in your local area and find out how you can change your life for the better.
