By Dana B. Thompson

It may come as a surprise, but sometimes the cause of pain and discomfort in the body can stem from an unhealthy or burdened mind. Stress, emotional upset and negative thought patterns can wreak havoc on the body's nervous system, which in turn can affect the organs, muscles and almost every other part of the body. Ask any good Ontario chiropractor and they are sure to agree that nurturing a positive mind can have a great impact on the body's nervous system and therefore the rest of the body. It may sound too good to be true, but following these simple tips could be the answer to transforming your health:

Whenever you think that your mindset is getting a bit negative, think about the worst things that could happen to you and be grateful that none of it has happened yet.Having a healthy level of self-esteem is another great way of staying positive. You are not going to be a positive person if you don't value yourself. So whenever you are feeling down, think about the things that are amazing about you. For instance, you may have given a great presentation at the office meeting or you may have used your creativity recently. It may be something as simple as cooking a meal that your husband loves. You can also make a list of things that are great about you. It will be the boost you need to stay positive.

Look for the positive in every situation.Lost your job? Perhaps your job loss will help you find the career you've always wanted. Been dumped by your boyfriend? Maybe you're better off without a boyfriend that doesn't appreciate you. Turn a negative into a positive and find the good in bad things that happen to you. Ask yourself what you can take from your bad experiences to turn them into events that make you stronger or a better person. Remember - we can't determine our circumstances, but we can determine how we react to them.

Knowing how to stay happy/positive in sexless marriage is very important if the relationship is to last - it is hard work but very possible. It does take a certain type of couple to be able to conquer this - but with perseverance and open communication anything is possible. If someone were to ask you, you would probably say that you were a pretty happy person. You try to keep a positive frame of mind and stay upbeat. It can be difficult, though, to maintain a positive mindset when you find yourself surrounded by negativity. Here are a few ways you can help keep your positive attitude whenever you look around and find that everyone else is being negative.

Be inspired,There are sure to be people who have experienced the same negative events or circumstances that you might have encountered. If you find your particular experiences hard to deal with, buy a book or audio cassette of someone who has walked in your shoes but overcome their problems. Realize there is always hope in any situation and be inspired to go beyond your circumstances.

Be the bigger person. It's not fun being around a negative person. But just imagine how miserable it must be to be the negative person. They are full of sour emotions and see themselves as the victim of life. They are probably scared and hurting in some way. Anger is one way that many people hide their troubles away from others. Try to be compassionate and give them the benefit of the doubt.

Bring them a little positivity. What can you do to help turn their day around? It could be something small, like acknowledging a recent accomplishment. Bring them a snack from the vending machine. Even simply asking them how they are doing can help them to open up a little and get things off their chest. Do what you think would cheer you up on an off day. If you are met with an even bigger wave of negativity, just walk away. You know that you tried, and you can't win them all!

Remember: you get to choose the people in your life,We are not physically attached to every person we deal with day in and day out. It is okay to cut out anyone who brings absolutely no positive value to your life. Friends, family, coworkers, spouses- if they just don't want to be a part of your positive lifestyle, then it's okay to limit contact with them or do away with the relationship altogether. There is a whole world of people out there who can make you smile, so don't waste your happiness on those who don't want to share it.
